Are my photographs good enough to get into NYU?

I like these three, they all give me a kind of surreal feeling.

Looking at them again, I think that She's made of Sulphur in the Night is the best, then Twist and Shout, and then Pursuit.

The way I see them, and this is only me - other people might see it completely differently - the others you've done are good too, but those three have a quality of creating immediate and strange or unusual sensations/feelings. That is something that makes them striking and different from average photography. I haven't explained well but you might know what I mean ? :-)

You shouldn't have a problem getting into NYU.

In fact, I would set your sights higher!

There's a great school in Rhode Island that's a sister of Brown, I think its called Providence School of Art and Design, which is pretty much #1 in the country.

Your photos are terrific. I find them to be very pleasing aesthetically. I'm sure you know that your grades and SAT scores are what the NYU admissions department will use to determine if you are granted admission.

Well, you've got my vote. All I would say is your portfolio is heavy with portraiture. You might want to mix in some other types of images to show a more rounded portfolio Landscapes, Macros, Nature etc.

Your images on view are interesting, and they probably will get you into NYU. I must say though that the majority of them I find aesthetically unpleasing and take it that you've not expanded your muse and photographic boundaries much. They are in much the same vein, and you need to get out of that strange and quirky genre. That's what I honestly think.

yo your pictures are really good

you're incredibly good at portraits and editing them

i'd say stick to those for the portfolio, especially the "original" ones, with new concepts in play
