Can I recycle old school binders?

I have a lot of old plastic binders from last school year that I want to get rid of. I don't want to just throw them out though. Can I recycle them at some place like Stop and Shop where I will get some money back for recycling them. btw, they are your regular old Staples binder .

If they are still in usable condition I would take them to a local charity like Goodwill. Then they can be re-used, another form of recycling.

like the ones that have cardboard inside of them?

sure thing. just cut the plastic to get out the cardboard and separate the metal from the plactic. i am pretty sure that you can recyle everything.

or you could give it to someone who works at an office job, going to school, etc

    Source(s): ty or recycling :D
