NEED SERIOUS ANSWERS FROM GIRLS OR GUYS!?

okay so a few things. there is this girl i really like but i'm not sure if she likes me back i kinda think she does and basically what has been going on is that ive been playing it cool when im around her and stuff and acting like im not interested in her (like when we txt each other ill stop txting her after a small number of txts,and not really talking to her much in person just like saying hi then talk to someone else) and it seems to be working bcuz before i was doing that she didnt seem interested at all but since ive started doing that she seemed more interested.

HOWEVER

this is where it gets complicated

the other day i slipped on the whole "playing it cool" act and when she was complaining on a social website about a guy mistreating her i txted her basically being a relly nice guy that i actually am and told her that she is great and dosent deserve to be treated like that and since i did that she has been trying to talk to me even more then usual and now i feel bad "playing it cool" but im scared if i go upfront about what would happen.

so here are my options

1. Keep Playing it cool and possibly have her think im a jerk

2. Show her that i really am a nice guy but risk messing up some how.

3. just be upfront with her about everything

4. just forget about it all its not worth all this time and energy.

    go with #2 no one likes a jerk I always fall head over heels for the nice guy. go with the risk:)

    the fact that she has started to talk to you more since you gave her advice and supported you is a clear sign that shes got something for you. dont "play it cool" because thats just mean, your giving her false signs and your telling her that you have nothing for her when you actually do. im sure you wouldnt want a girl to "play it cool" towards you would you? because you'll think that she dosnt like you when she actually does

    so i would choose 2. show her that you like her and give her signs. trust me, its the best option

    just be upfront with her about everything, try telling her how you feel about her and if you notice that she is being interested then go on and make sure that you always make her happy and never treat her bad.

    comin from a girl id say three make plans to hang out with her a few times then tell her how u feel and maybe she will feel the same.
