CALL OF DUTY 4 OR CALL OF DUTY 5?

I would definetly reccommend Call of Duty 4. In my opinion it is better than COD5 as there are better guns, its more entertaining (even for an old game) and compared to COD5 it totally owns it. In COD4, there is only one map pack to download, where as in COD5 there are three. It makes the choice easier by only having one map pack.

Call of Duty 4 - solid online gameplay, great storyline

Call of Duty 5 - O.K online gameplay, storyline not so bad.

Also you can see clearly in COD4 than you can in COD5. COD5 there is too much shading and visual effects and it doesn't seem like much of a problem, but when you are constantly playing online, it gets quite annoying.

Also, COD4 is way cheaper than COD5 which makes it the logical choice.

I don't see why you wouldn't wait for modern warfare 2, but out of cod 4 and cod 5 you should definitely go for cod 4.

I can tell you exactly why not to get either of those though.

As soon as modern warfare 2 hits shelves pretty much all of the people still playing cod 4 and at least half of the people playing cod 5 are going to migrate over to modern warfare 2.

You should wait for Modern Warfare 2 to come out.

But if you really want to choose between the 2, go for Call of Duty 4. :D

Depends...do you like WWII shooters better than "Modern" shooters?

If you do, buy CoD5. If you like "Modern" shooters, buy CoD4.

Campaign mode on both are excellent - tie

MW's graphics are sharper, WaW's graphics feel more relaistic/grittier (serious kudos for the nod to the graphics style of the original games) - tie

MW has more maps, WaW has vehicles! - tie

MW's MP graphics looks better, WaW's MP has vehicle perks! - tie

2. More Entertaining Story

3. Online is funner

4. Got more awards than COD 5

5. Has won over 20 Game of the year awards, COD 5 only won 5

depends, if you mean COD 4: modern warfare I would say COD 5, but if you mean COD 4: modern warfare 2 then defenitely MW2

I got tired of cod5 after 2 prestieges. I'm almost 6th in cod4 and im still not bored.
