I just want a DIAGNOSIS!!! Doctors, nurses, anyone, please assist!!! I will be so thankful 4 guesses/insight!?
Been sick since 9/3/09, it's now over a month later, and not any better. No doctors have been able to figure out what's wrong with me, YET!!! I am going to a new doc tomorrow and a new gyno to get checked out and another round of blood work. If you can guess what I might have, and you are right, I will give you the "choose as best answer" for points!

Went to ER, blood work was okay, red blood cells an odd size, too small. Had CT scan of my head, showed chronic sinus infection. Chest X-ray was ok. They had no idea what was wrong with me. I am thinking maybe serotonin syndrome, MS, or something really bad.
I AM SICK AND TIRED OF BEING SICK AND TIRED! I just want my life back. I don't want to be in bed all day feeling queasy! Oh, and not pregnant...
Also, I get super nauseous looking at the computer screen or tv for more than 5 mins.
Yes, blood test checked for Lyme. Not sure if it was the test you mentioned. I will ask.
The meds I take daily are paxil CR, meclizine for the dizziness, clonozapam if needed for a bad panic attack, and YAZ birth control for period issues.

My best guess is a chronic migraine headache. The easiest way to evaluate this is to try one or two migraine meds and see if the symptoms go away. I used to get migraines with your symptoms whenever my sinuses were infected ( and swollen shut).

Are you taking medications that can cause seritonin syndrome? Some antidepressants can't be taken with other medications without risk of SS. Cymbalta interacts with Tramadol (Ultram), Soma and even OTC melatonin. Tramadol by itself causes many interactions and possible Seritonin Syndrome. One person I know got in on their first dose and a year later they are still not right. The way to stop Seritonin Syndrome is with a Benzo (probably like your anxiety medication), but if you're taking a combination of drugs each day, and then bailing out with the Benzo, that would be an unhealthy cycle for you. Is there no doctor you can explain to what you think is going on? You sound informed and intelligent. Try to find one you can communicate honestly with. Best of luck to you.

Hm, lady that's quite a list of problems. Sorry to hear about it. It's definitely neurological though, so I'm saying MS. A lesion in the spinal cord would explain the falling over in the shower with eyes closed feeling. A lesion anywhere along the optic nerve or tract would explain the strobe lights. Heat CT is a very imprecise test and I would recommend a head MRI because it has higher resolution.

I've had a c section & it was horrible. My next children I am refusing a c section unless I HAVE too. I hope I will never have to go through that again. It was the most painful thing ever. The healing process is a bx!tch those percocets didn't help me a bit. I also had an infection & my section didn't heal properly. Mine was done because of labor complications after 2 days of labor. I wish I had a choice in it. It is NATURAL to give birth, not have your baby cut out of you. I also have HPV but mine cleared up in its own. My Dr's never recommend a c section. EDIT: @ becka my son almost died because of the c section, as did I. A c section is a serious surgery - maybe you can't do some research & read but everything about it is serious. I am not trying to scare anyone - maybe your the inexperienced one. Your are meant to give birth vaginally. If you were meant to have your baby cut out of you, every doctor would be giving c sections instead of pushing vaginal birth. The risks for HPV are low-there are different kinds and you don't always have 'outbreaks' I never did. Its not herpes. I've never heard of having the option of a c section for HPV because the risks of a c section are greater than HPV.

On what basis do you say you don't have Lyme disease? I'm guessing they gave you an ELISA blood test, which actually does a POOR job of identifying Lyme. Most of your symptoms could be evidence of Lyme and/or other tick-borne infections. Recommend you take a look at the following websites:
Good sources of info about Lyme disease:
