Of COURSE they need to let him RIP! If they're not going to say anything nice about him they need to stop. Im sick of them always talking about him over the news starting all types of rumors. It wasnt right when he was alive, and its not right NOW.

some human beings each and every so often ought to not seem mixed race yet easily are. My cousins are like that. MJ DESPISED the tabloids and media and so for that reason he hid his youngsters faces. And sturdy for him with the aid of fact if i've got been that sought after i could probably do the comparable. it is demanding having a toddler. not to show once you're a movie star. those toddlers ARE HIS!!!!

Can you define Resting in Peace, because last I knew, nobody was banging on his tombstone.

edit: the majority of the answers are talking about not talking bad about MJ...so if that is what you mean then yes of course, people should let him rest in peace....however many haters will say, the fans need to shut up about him and let him rest in peace, and that is why I always say, "we're not hurting him by remembering him"

Indeed they should. He's a dag on human being just like the rest of us. He is going to make mistakes, him being a celeb does not omit him from mistakes or mess ups. He's passed away now, and regardless of what people say, the facts won't change. Long live the King...

i definitely think they should. i don't care how he died or what drugs he was on prior to his death i just want another 24 hour MJ video marathon so i can feel nostalgic. he was the greatest entertainer of all time and i don't think that people will ever forget that so i think we should let him rest now and not speak of him unless we are talking about his music, success or his new movie which i can't wait to see

*****THIS IS IT!!! THIS IS IT!!!*****

Absolutely, positively, for sure, yes! They bashed him enough when he was alive. And, as sad as it is. It's still going on. I'm wondering if he ever will get the eternal rest he so deserves. It's sad for his fame and fortune to see how this vicious cycle still goes on and on and on.

    RIP~MJ

I think that as long as the privacy of his family are respected people should be able to celebrate his life and achievements for many years to come.
