you taking a chance on either one of those vehicles but out of the two I would take the saturn as those have good engines in them.

Stay away from a Saturn. Especially one that old. They have major issues. The transmission and engine cooling is your major concern with a Saturn that old. You might as well just toss your money away because you will have endless problems and repair bills. Saturns are getting better but even the new ones are sketchy.
The Buick on the other hand may be alright. Buicks are a more reliable vehicle. But if it's a 03; Rendevoux STAY AWAY! They were notorious for all kinds of problems. Engine,Drive system, engine cooling, Transmission, even the electrical was awful.
I would suggest you stay away from these 2 vehicles. The price may be nice, but they have a track record of major issues.
Try and find a Toyota Rav 4, Honda CRV, and old Honda Pilot, or even a Nissan Xterra. Way more reliable and have very minor issues, even the old ones.
Good Luck!
