The basic problem is rooted in their unbiblical doctrine of sola scriptura, or scripture alone. Here is the misbegotten progression of ideas:
1. Only scripture reveals God's plans.
2. Every individual is empowered to interpret scripture for himself, without the "supreme court" of the church.
3. As an individual reader, scripture means whatever I want it to mean.
Once anti-Catholics get to step #3, the facts don't matter any more. Our only hope is to reach Christians at steps #1 or #2, where they are still interested in following the Bible, which is the original Catholic teaching.
Cheers,

Your question is useless without context.
Who are "anti-Catholics"? Atheists? Protestants? Jews? Dan Brown readers?
What are their "lies"?
Which "facts" demolish those lies?
Short of specific information, your question is little more than troll-bait.

The problem is it never happens. See the Church doesn't lie. If it did, and it was that obvious, it wouldn't have well over a billion (living) members and a 2000 year heritage to go with it.
Any lies you'd care to demolish for us now oh learned brother?

To be honest it's very simple, because they are like their pastors. The more they shout the more they think they are right. because they think the more they say it the more they speak the truth when deep down they know it's not, they just need to hear themselves . There are some cases where they just believe everything they are told and are misguided.

There is no God - catholic or otherwise. The Pope is delusional as are all self-righteous religionists - especially devout catholics. The supposed existence of such a being is totally illogical - and propagated by unthinking unintelligent people. However I do not deny them the right to have such ridiculous beliefs.

The fact that the Catholic church is responsible for the murders of countless peoples and the destruction of hundreds of cultures during the Crusades, the Inquisition, and the European Witch Trials and that they protected child-molesting priests and deny women equal rights in the clergy are enough reasons to stay away from Catholicism.

because they haven't been demolished obviously.
You can draw your sword and yell "touche" but that doesn't really mean you scored a hit.
