yea i herd that to, it is ridiculous it is going for like $150,000. who would actually get that.

People was and still are crazy for Elvis Presley. I think "Elvis Impersonator" even has a Wikipedia article. It's not necessarily a weird thing. Maybe a little strange, but there are people who do stranger.
One of the history teachers in my school is crazy about Napoleon Bonaparte, and has a sample of his hair too. It's not that uncommon.

People with too much cash on their hands that no longer have a life, but had one back then would go too far. This, for example, is outrageous. Hair? Really? I mean, a guitar is cool, but hair? Wow.
