I am having iPhone trouble!?

Start from about tuesday last week my iPhone has had low bar and no internet connection (3G), said no signal, or search whenever I am at school or at home. It's happened out of no where. I turn my phone off and back on and the bars come back but go away later on. Is there something wrong with my phone or strictly the connection?

    try going to settings and turning off 3G then wait a couple of seconds and turn 3G back on it works w/ mine

    try laying the phone in one spot for about 60 seconds and c if the bars go up if they do its just the connection
