how to open .docX files?

A ha~ it's the new word format for Office 2007.

If you didn't have the Office 2007 installed on your computer, you could right click the documents, and choose "wordpad" in PC system to open.

Otherwise, you could download a converter for it.

You need Microsoft Office 2007 to open a .docx file

Dis is the extension used for Microsoft Office 2007 word document

in old versions Microsoft used .doc extension to word files.

U may be using an old version of Office

Better upgrade it to Microsoft 2007

Or

U can also convert the .docX file to .doc by using any convertor available

You can do any of the following things:

1) install the MS Office compatibility pack

2) upgrade their version of Word or PowerPoint

3) install Open Office 3.x which can read the documents

4) convert their files online at places like http://www.docx2doc.com/
