How does microsoft help others / Does it give money to cause. If so who and how?

Interesting question.

A quick search reveals that as last reported back in 2006, Microsoft & its employees have given over $2.5 Billion in Charitable Donations.

And this does NOT include donations given by the Gates Foundation.

Microsoft is involved in many such activities. But the major chunk is given by the founder of Microsoft "Bill Gates". Gates and his wife combined three family foundations into one to create the charitable Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, which is the largest transparently operated charitable foundation in the world.

Well, they did however use a very good method of persuasion .... Bill Gates unleashes mosquitos on a crowd of rich people to make them feel the same way people in africa feel.

Don't worry though they all got medical treatment.

But the point was clear. I wouldn't be suprised if Bill Gates got sued by those people.

Bill Gates gives heaps of money to charity.

He runs the Bill Gates Foundation which aims to alleviate poverty.

Not sure if the company itself gives any money to good causes.
