    (Why is this in the Maths section? Are you just assuming that us Chinese are good at maths so you'd have better luck getting an answer?)

    Anyway, it reads (roughly; I can fluently read and write in Chinese and English, but am not a certified translator):

    "Because her older brother was diagnosed with schizophrenia, Jill Bolte Taylor decided to focus her research on the the neuroscience of the human brain. Jill neuro... ... W --------- ?"

    This is what the snipplet above reads. I do not claim whether the information is factually correct. Googling suggests that you took this from the Chinese intro/byline for the TED talk that Dr. Taylor gave on her experience with stroke. Then it appears that the third character in the second sentence is a typographical error. The second sentence should read:

    "Jill, despite being a neuroscience specialist, suffered through the experience of a stroke."
