Does anyone else think its stupid that Yahoo allows you to vote your own answers the Best answer?

I voted for myself about three times already...And yes I do think it's kind of dumb. Like yahoo doesn't allow you to give yourself a thumbs up, but you can pick your answer as the best answer..LOL.

No, i think it's fair. I believe politicians can vote for themselves at elections no? It's true that it can feel like cheating, especially as many people don't even bother to check their previous answers so you often end up as the only voter, but at the same time many voters are those who are trying to get their points up to get off level 1 or 2, so they just vote the first answer they see. At least you've had a say in the matter by voting for yourself.

Why not? I raised my % best from 15% to 20% in one day, when I figured out we could vote for our own answers.

It gives all of the bored losers addicted to this Y!A drug some temporary pride.

On the other hand, such an ability can further the addiction and distance you from rehabilitation.

They stopped letting us vote for ourselves at one point and the backlog of unresolved question literally SWELLED because people stopped voting altogether.
