I'm not sure if this will be of any help to you but what i have been doing is creating like 3 or 4 tier 1 units usually 2 melee and 2 ranged then upgrading the stage. Build a few tier 2, anything that is good against infantry (rat guts, skull rakers or fire barons) then upgrade again. For this part you would probably want to start creating anti vehicle units, maybe 2 or three (brood, bouncers, heart cutters). then of course upgrade to the last and get one of those (treeback, bleeding death, rock crusher). Wait until you get your tier 1 army and then go capture 1 or 2 fan geysers, defend them until you can create stronger units. After you get all of your upgrades bum rushing seems to work well. Hope this helps. ps, support units can make a world of difference, just not to many. I recommend thunderhogs, screamwagons (my favorite), or an organist (or if you upgraded the dirigible is great).
