How can I find what the price of a vintage motorcycle was when it was new? MSRP is the price I'm looking for.?

Another question regarding motorcycles as an investment got me onto this search. I know that the NADA web site has the new price for more recent bikes, but I'm having trouble to find the original price of bikes for the 60's, 70's, and 80's.

Specifically I was looking at the 65 Honda super 90, but info for other bikes would be appreciated.

Thanks for any help!

    Here are a few sites to go to, don't know if you will find what your looking for but still a good place to spend sometime. (www.motorcyclemuseum.org/classics} {classic-motorbikes.net} and

    {michaelsmotorcycles.com}

    You will notice that in the 1965 section the Honda CB160 went for $530.00 I'm thinking the Super90 went for around $430 or a little less.

    You can ask to speak to the archive dept. of Cycle World Magazine I believe they are connected with the folks at Road and Track in Newport Beach, Ca. I believe if I remember the bike in question was less than $500 new then.

    You could try a long established dealer or write to a bike magazine.
