Is this Platoon pic taken Before, during or after Boot camp?
I would love to know when during boot camp was this pic taken and what kind of guns those are. thanks BTW..that's my fathers platoon.
thanks for sharing those pics. those DI's look tough as sh!t. LOL. and the uniforms sure are diffrent.

That is a cool picture. You take those during the 2nd month of boot camp today. Back then during the war there wasn't three months of boot camp.

Perro left out those are M14's.
Edit: You are very correct. Those uniforms were also used by the Army. They required heavy starch for Garrison duty and looked like crap in the field. You could iron them every night but that got old quick.
