Help! All of my songs, videos, pictures, etc.was erased from iTunes.?

My iPod (5th generation) has all of the songs, videos, etc. that I want to put back into iTunes. Some of these are not replaceable and I was unable to back them up previously. I am afraid if I plug the iPod in the computer it will erase all of the content. What can I do? Thanks!

Ok first of all you want to get on to iTunes. Next of all go to the top of the page and find where it says store. Then go down and click authorize computer. Next you want to go to File and go down to where it says Tranfer Purchases From "____ iPod" After this you can get all your purchases back but unfortunately you can not get songs back that you added from a CD or something like that. Hope this helped! if not email me at michaelmolliconi12@hotmail.com. DO NOT DO WHAT THE ABOVE ANSWER SAID TO DO.DONT DOWNLOAD ANYTHING BECAUSE IT IS NOT NECESSARY!!! Also when you first plug your iPod into the computer and iTunes comes up you will get a screen that says like erase, erase and sync or cancel. Just click cancel to prevent losing all of your songs.

AND DO NOTHING BESIDES USING THE APPLE PROGRAM. GO TO iTunes AND DO ALL THE THINGS I SAID. IT KEEPS ALL OF YOUR SONGS, PLAYCOUNT and EVERYTHING AS IT WAS BEFORE. IT BASICALLY LIKE A JUMP DRIVE. IT COPIES THE MUSIC ROM YOUR IPOD OVER BACK TO ITUNES!!

Source(s): It happened to me this summer and i called Apple and they told me what to do!

You may try this ipod transfer, it can help you copy songs, videos, movie, photos, playlists, podcasts from iPod to computer iTunes. It supports all series of iPod including iPod Touch, iPod Nano, iPod Classic, iPod Shuffle, even the iPhone. it's safe and works pretty well for me. Moreover, it will keep the songs play information - rating, playcount, name, artist, playlist, etc. No other iPod transfer can do that

    It also has Mac version

I recommend AVCWare iPod to iPod/Computer/iTunes Transfer which can transfer your iPod and iPhone music, video, playlist, photos back to computer and iTunes.

If you own more than one iPods, AVCWare iPod to iPod/Computer/iTunes Transfer can simultaneously manage all the iPods in the same interface, you may transfer files among these iPods by drag-and-drop.

    Hope it helps!

You can try this software to backup the stuffs in your iPod/iPhone/iTouch. Recover lost or missing music, backup and restore all of your iPod/iPhone/iTouch content, including your favorite songs, videos, photo files and Play Lists, and that's not all. You can try this software to backup songs, videos, photos in iPod to PC, copy iPod songs, videos, photos to new ipod, computer or notebook.
