If Aliens don't want to be seen by us earthlings, why do they always put bright lights on their UFOs?

They are not lights. Those are the 3 gravity amplifiers on the bottom of the ship that give off tremendous energy.

When the 3 gravity amplifiers are all aligned to propel the craft, this is what allows the craft to distort space/time to travel vast distances very quickly.

When the 3 gravity amplifiers basically cancel each other out, that is how the craft hovers, cancelling out gravity.

You assume that they don't want to be seen. What better way for them to demonstrate their technological superiority than to hover over our military installations in full view of everyone? Because that's what they've done on numerous occasions. If you don't believe me, you can do an FOI request and see the information for yourself. They seem to have a particular interest in nuclear missile installations.

Also, you may have heard of the recent encounter by the Mexican airforce pilots. They were tracking drug smugglers over the gulf of Mexico using infra-red cameras, and instead picked up several UFOs on camera. Those UFOs were invisible to the naked eye. It's evident from many UFO sightings that these objects are capable of making themselves invisible in optical wavelengths arbitrarily.

They probably want us to notice them for once in their true form. Well after talking to a few different species i found that it,s kind of a universal protocol ,..makes sense really because they don't want us to run into them and visa verse same reason that we have lights on our air craft ,..personally i think a civilization advanced enough to cross a solar system wouldn't have to worry about being seen,..if they wanted to they could just wipe us off the face of this planet.so lights are for universal common courtesy

How do you know that aliens don't want to be seen? We have no idea what aliens (if they exist) do or do not want to do.

And UFOs are not alien space ships because no aliens are visiting Earth.

They seem not to be aggressive (we are) and so have no reason to hide themselves. Once we start taking pot shots at them then they will become wary.
