How's the off-season fairing us all so far?

Now that our weekends are free, what's everyone getting up to?

Update:

I'm bored... procrastinating assignments (tut tut) and watching the A-League as well

Waiting for OzTag to start, should make things a little bit funner I reckon.

During the winter I tend to hibernate a lot - staying home and watching lots of sport and other TV. But now the NRL is over I have gradually started to 'wake up' and by the time the 4Nations is over I will be into full socialising summer mode.

Middle of November I will switch off from RL until end of Feb 2010; will probably watch some cricket and definitely some tennis but other than that will mostly be out and about. Don't watch much TV in summer.

I am playing OzTag as well, we start on Thursday night.

I don't mind watching the A-League either. Cricket ain't bad but in the summer time I mainly get out of the house or go into the pool in the backyard or the beach

I'm well and truly immersed into the start of the Ice Hockey season - with over 40 games a week it keeps my sport viewing satisfied. Cricket will begin on Saturdays soon enough and the Black Caps and Aussies have interesting series around the corner.

EDIT: Whats OZtag guys? Is it like touch with ribbons on a belt?

mmm,,,as for the weekends they're a little crap than before... i cannot wait for summer. i tend to hang out with friends a lot at night during summer nights. just chill out more than anything.

i do like watching tennis (Australian Open which is a little later in the year) and obviously NRL rep games (FourNations)

I'm enjoying the time off before Bennett gets us into pre-season training early November.

I've just been chillin with the boiz down the beach at parties, you know how we do. The team doesn't feel the same with big Poorey, he will be missed.

    Oh and crickets started...only a 2'fa yesterday.

I'm missing my rugby league =( at least we have the four nations coming up to fill the void a little. Anyone else going to stay up to watch the games?

Still do the usual really, bbqs, parties, hanging out with mates, heading to Sydney to go clubbing, play a little beach footy, etc..

Got a 4 year old's birthday this weekend and have to see a mate who had a baby a couple of weeks ago, housewarming/baby shower.

Trying to get our own touch comp going, don't like the politics of the one down here. Just gonna get mates together and do 6 on 6 or something.

Edit - You got it Ryan. Like touch but with the tags, you get 6 tags/plays to get over the line.

Well, I'm back to watching NFL and college football (at times), NHL, and hopping for a GREAT NBA season.

Sometimes I catch some Premier League, and Barcelona...

Yes, I'm in the US, born and raised, and I'm missing league BADLY!!!

    Can't wait until March.

Trying to slow down but it's just one thing after another.

Bathurst,Caufield cup, Phillip Island and now...

Jessica Watson has set sail for the youngest solo sail trip around the world in the Southern oceans.

My daughter reckons that I'm a bit creepy with my interest in her endeavours. They were watching Idol and I was watching her on 60 minutes by myself, what's wrong there?
