How to tell if a guy likes you and how to impress him.?

Usually if a boy likes a girl, they act a bit different around them. A boy who liked me was extra nice, while another time there was a boy who liked me that tried to act extra tough. Lol. Basically if you want to know if he likes you, ask him- that's the only way to really tell. Or, just check if he acts "extra" anything around you.

As of impressing him, try out your knowledge of sports (or whatever hobby he likes). Don't give up your whole personality though. Keep your head held high. Guys are sometimes impressed by intelligence, too. Like, being smart? So many girls believe that you have to act dumb and ditsy around boys for them to like them. But, that is not true. Another way to make him a bit attracted to you is a sense of humor. Show that you are able to joke around, and flirt a little bit.

*Note: Always act yourself. Never lose sight of who you really are while trying to impress a guy. If you do, he may not be the guy for you :).

Why should you have to do anything to impress him?

If a guy ( or if it was the other way round, a girl) have to do anything special, or change themselves in any way, just to impress someone else.?

If you like someone, then you like them for who and what they are, not someone or thing that they think they have to be to win you.

It's hard to keep a pretence of being something that you are not long term, so just be yourself, if he likes you, then he likes the real you, not something that you tried to portray, and if he doesn't then ok, but there are plenty more guys around who will accept you for who and what you are.

If the guy really likes you, when someone disses you, he'll defend you. He might stare at you alot or he might get all nervous when he talks to you.

If you want to impress him, all you have to do is try to be interested in the things he's interested in. If he likes sports, then you could try to be interested in sports as well. Just try to not make it obvious that you like him.

For one thing, what guys who are confident will usually do something hard to impress you, such as incredible physical feats, mental power, etc. He might try to talk to you a lot, or maybe even ask you out to some places. Or he just might be nervous and shy. In any condition, it would be to talk to him, a lot, act as if you care about him, act sexy and flirt, etc.

This is not very honest, but I have to tell you that it really works... If you are interested, keep looking at the guy up to the moment he notices that. When he does, pretend you are uncomfortable, cause "It was not your intention", and you are shy! Guys get very interested in that. So silly. =0)

you can tell if he likes you if he stares at you a lot and pays you attention. you can usually get a guy by being friendly with him one minute and acting like you don't care about him the next. people tend to want things they can't have so don't make it too easy.
