Comments not showing well on my blog... help please?

if you go to the graphic I made of John Warne and click the link that says "Make A Comment (2)" you will see that there is indeed two comments but they won't show without highlighting... I am normally good at CSS but I can't figure out what tag to put in the disqus style sheet. the body, font, h1, h2 tags don't seem to be working. I want the text to be a colour that is not the same as the background
I want the background to stay black... the comments and the blog have css in two different places
