Need recommendation of a computer hardware book?
There are so many devices in our computers. And I am painfully at loss to know what each of these capable of. Can someone let me know a decent book which tells these deatils in easy way.
Well, I consider myself as dummy only as I am pure application programmer and dwell into hardware only to upgrade my knowledge about the capability the new machines have got under-the-hood. I found few books on Amazon, but latest one by Ron White (How Computers Work (9th Edition) (Paperback)) also came in 2007 only. It won't be able to explain today's motherboards and their capabilities.

Very easy books to understand: Any kind of book that is label .......for Dummies. I have 2: Windows XP for Dummies, etc. This is not an insult. The author makes it very easy to understand.
