90's clothing for a costume?

Halloween is coming up and everyone at my school dresses up for it. Usually we have one costume for school and our real ones for Halloween. Well, everyone usually does the boring stuff like fireman or 80's girl, so I want to do 90's. And I need help on what to wear. I was thinking overalls with either flannel under it or some ugly t-shirt, glitter nail polish, scrunchies and a bunch of hair barettes and like butterfly clips, etc. Possibly BSB stickers. Maybe some Keds. Is this 90's? I mean, did girls even wear overalls? Help!
