How do you feel about twilight or the twilight saga?
to me, the movie was terrible and i got bored in the first 15 minutes cuz of all the changes made and the story didn't at least try to follow the book. i mean look at how jessica was asian! how in the world were we supposed to know that?! exactly. and that tyler was black. where did that come from? seriously. anyway, the movie was the worst thing i've ever seen.
the book: the book was pretty awesome i can't lie. i read part of it in 2005 when it first came out but put it down then picked it back up last week cuz i needed something to read. wow. i was blown away. i admit all the hype put into it by 12 year old girls was complete crap. i'm on page 62 of new moon now and it's starting to get better.
but the series still won't ever be able to hold a candle to harry potter. those of you who are twilight freaks should read all of hp. it's 10000 times better than twilight
but thats just my opinion. hp has an actual story line thats not all gushy gushy goo goo romance but its suspensefull on top of that. now twilight is an ok series but i guess you cant really compare em to hp cuz its really really really different. even though they both involve werewolves. anyways, twilight caught my attention and i HATE when people say 'why are you reading that girl book'? ugh! i was like that too til i read it. but i mean it's a BOOK! a book from a girls prospective. so what? if i read midnight sun which is from edwards point of view then it's suddenly for guys?
so what do you think?
if you hate it and think its sucks like i did before i read it you should at least read the first chapter.

Harry Potter just has a better, more original story line.
I`m also a Twilight fan. But it`s the typical "One team vs. One team over a prize"

I like the way you think and I totally agree. The New Moon movie is supposed to be waaaay better than Twilight due to all the money they made off of Twilight. I love the books, and I've never read HP but I can't say I haven't tried. Seems pretty cool. I'm sure both are great books.

The teen-angst core of Twilight is why I found the later books of the Potter series less interesting - if I want a mix of raging hormones and the supernatural, I'll read Keri Arthur.

I think I hate Twilight so much because the true fans (the ones who read it when it first came out) got pulled into the money grubbing speed production called a fad. The movie was so horrible because the producers didn't have the time to perfect the special effects ( or script, or wardrobe...) because they had to get the movie out to get the money from screaming fan girls. The books are poorly made too, there are obscene amounts of typos in the speedily made copies. Am I ranting? So sorry...

I use to love the Twilight saga but the 4th book sucked and so did the movie and so many people are so obsessed with it now that it's just...annoying. Not sure how to explain it.

i never read harry potter and dont care to...but i did read twilight and it was a very good book all four of them were..and the movie isnt as good as the book but its not bad..if they followed the book you knw how long that movie would be..they cant detail the movie just like they did the book

Twilight was just ok. The series is way overrated, though. I agree 100% that it will never be Harry Potter. When people compare it to HP it just makes me want to vomit.

Well to be honest you have to be a girl to understand it... most guys won't get it. The books are absolutely amazing though.. they are beautiful and I LOVE them. THe movies are good but the books were better. I still cannot wait to see the new moon movie though!!!! NOVEMBER 20th!!!!!!

yes i do feel bad for jacob black because bella doesn't love him like that and no matter what he does he will not be able to change that but then again he sorta needs to get over it it would help a lot of things and stop him from hurting
