Vegetable insulin is a genetic term for chemicals in certain plants that reduce blood sugar. I can't find anything on Cartam plant. These herbal remedies are useful, especially in developing countries where access to pharmaceuticals is limited.

There is no such thing as "vegetable insulin" - I can't believe these health products are allowed to use this terminology. There are no plants or herbs that reduce blood glucose. Only insulin and exercise can do that.

I wonder if you're thinking of cardamon.
