How long would it take me to get from Reading to Oxford via the Thames on a boat?
I'm thinking of doing a boating holiday and wondered how long I would need to to allow if i pick up the boat from Reading and then head to Oxford and back on the Thames. I'm just trying to figure out how long that journey would take? Anyone done this journey?

Easily in a couple of days. Probably less, depending if you want to stop along the way and if the locks are busy.
I have travel led the whole length between Oxford and Teddington and back in a week.
Note that you travel at about 4mph through the water. It's faster going downstream
