at&t prepaid caller id blocking?
i have at&t prepaid wireless and want to have my caller id blocked so its not shown when i make calls.
i had this with my contract phone, but seems at&t doesn't want anything to do with prepaid customers as you cant get live help at all from them only there prerecorded buy feature number 611.
on there website it says to call 611 and buy/add the feature buts its not there at all.
how do i add this feature to my phone?
there is no option or mention at all in features on at&t's 611 customer service, you can not get a live person to talk to or meail them or contact them at all.
seems only contract phones they care about.

if the caller id blocking is a feature that has a monthly charge, it may not be available for pay in advance since there is no way to bill for it regularly. Try getting through to customer service. Some companies have a longer hold period due to economical cut-backs. However I believe if you dial *67 before you dial the number it will block your number for you. try it with a friend to make sure. keep in mind, some numbers do not accept calls from blocked numbers, so be aware if the call won't go through. Good luck.
