Mozilla Firefox opening tabs as new windows?

Hey

I've got Mozilla Firefox, and a little while ago it downloaded the new one. Anyway now often it opens one of my tabs as a new window. Needless to say this gets very frustrating and I was wondering how it does this (I assume I click/press something) and if someone could either tell me how it does it so I won't make it happen or if I can disable it.

Thanks

Update:

Yes, I am aware of how to open things as new tabs or new windows.

The thing I was asking about was Mozilla opening my current tabs in new windows, without me (knowingly) clicking anything.

Easiest solution: Stop leaving 10+ tabs open and closing firefox Update Firefox, make sure you have the latest Microsoft updates. You may not have enough RAM in your system to remember all the tabs as well.

You can download the latest version of Mozilla Firefox from here http://j.mp/1jBlwIi

Mozilla Firefox is one of the world's most popular web browsers and, to me, it's the best.
