Why do folks feel sorry for Dale Jr?
All the other parts of his life seem to be well a successful race team, Whiskey river and his own plane.
I heard this some where never feel sorry for a man that owns a plane.

I feel bad for him, but I do not feel bad for his cocky fans that think he's god.

Tough to feel truly sorry for a guy that has everything. But if there is one thing that I would feel sorry for, it's that no matter how well he does in racing he will always be in his fathers shadow.
Dale Sr. was one of the great Nascar racers of all time, that's a big shadow to spend your entire career in.

Well he's with the best cheaters-I mean team- in NASCAR and still missed the chase. 50 year old Mark Martin is closer to a cup title than Junior ever will be. Junior need sto stick to bar tending and stay off the track LOL

I agree, I have seen his house on TV, my heart does not bleed for him. He is now on the best team in NASCAR. Three out of 4 Hendrick Motorsports are 1 2 3 in points now, only jr. did not make the chase. Even without making the chase, pretty sure that jr bringing down more cash than most people in this country.
As far as his negligible talent, can not really feel sorry for him for that either.

Just because someone has money doesn't mean all their dreams have come true, there are rich folks that are sad and unhappy. I am not saying Junior is any of these things but money isn't everything.
I feel for Junior because his life long dream is to be a Championship winning race car driver. Obviously that hasn't happened for him. the past few years have just sucked for him. He isn't winning, he isn't making the Chase or even cracking the top 10 lately.
So to me it doesn't matter how many bars or planes he has, i don't care how nice his house is or how many toys he has. For me it's all about racing cars and I want to see Junior win races and become the Champ I know he can be.

I for one do not feel sorry for this wanna-be driver.,has no talent, cry baby...you can see if you want to, how he has stunk up HMS..he is among champions and naturally has a defeatist attitude..but we need him for comedy..letting 105 yr. old Martin clean his clock..still say Joey Logano should take Jr. under his wing and teach him how to drive, then let Hamlin work with him .. then finally Jeff Gordon to give him some character....

It's like seeing a wounded dog on the side of the road, barely clinging to life.
You can't help but pity him.

Just him being frustrated on things, and having his dad not by his side
I think he should bring back Eury Sr. as crew cheif, like he said, Jr needs a dictator

His stuff doesn't make him happy: his performance does. And when you struggle all year because of stuff thats not you or your team's fault you have to feel bad for them.
