What would be wrong with wireless keyboard/mouse to cause scroll to go crazy?
HP Laptop (Vista) works fine until we plug in the wireless stick that runs the external keyboard/mouse. When that is plugged in, even the touch pad and a USB mouse will not work as the scroll will not stay down. Remove the wireless stick (sorry I don't know what you call that) and the USB mouse works fine.
Any idea how to fix this? Changing batteries didn't seem to help.

did you use the installation disc? also check the manufacturers website for driver updates, could be a compatability issue, browser conflict or just a faulty driver
just because a USB device is promoted as 'plug and play' doesn't necessarily mean you don't have to update the drivers that run the device
