What in the world do you mean?

Sure, Marx had an elaborate "social theory" entailing that revolution and communism were inevitable (sadly seemingly false, there is no inevitable utopia, I hate to tell you).

But, one can want to bring on this revolution, the coming of communism sooner, even while you think its coming is inevitable. Why can Marx not hold both positions, that "Event A will happen" and "I want and organize in order that Event A will happen."

If this is an essay topic, I am glad I am not writing on such a question.

Engel was the rich "industrialist" that keep Marx fed. He had nothing to do with the writing.

So Marx's theory was born out of an experiences of a person that did not have to work and got money without having to earn it.

Now does it make sense to you why Liberals think it is the way to go?

I think Marx confused his fantasy with reality when writing the Communist Manifesto.

No. what we need is a return to our Constitution and the capitalism it helped promote. Capitalism. With the American Way as guide, has freed more people. With Liberty and from drudgery. Increased the standard of living of everyone it touches. Also, increased the happiness of more people than anyone can measure. The world without the USA as it is meant to be? Is a darker, uglier and more enchained place. look at the old WWII films Why We Fight. See what we once were.

Marx confused good with evil and evil with good.
