Why do my windshield wipers stay in the middle of my windshield?
I drive a 2000 pontiac grand prix and have seen several other grand prix with the windshield wipers in the middle too. They work perfectly fine, but when I turn them off, instead of staying at the bottom, they hesitate and go back up and rest in the middle of my windshield. I was told the only way to fix it is to get a part from Pontiac that is $400. Is this true?

check the motor. then the blades, then the fuse.

Your windshield wiper switch that you use to turn them on is going bad. My brothers grand prix did the same thing and he had to buy one to fx the problem. He bought one at the junk yard for 35 dollars . It's hard to change if you don't have any knowledge of this kind of thing.
