How could I prove the identity of alum (AlKO3 x 12 H2O)?

I've already found melting point and dehydrated the alum to calculate the mole ratio. Help me pleaseee :)

I only need to prove it is alum, not which type

    i think you will find alum is potassium aluminium sulphate.
