Windows start up error message?

I recently had some malware I guess on my laptop. Every time I would start my computer I would have three shortcut icons on my desktop to porn sites. Well, I ran Malware Bytes and I think it got rid of it (though I dunno').

Anyways, now when I boot up I get the message: "error loading c:\Windows\TEMP\msxm192z.dll The specified module could not be found."

How can I get rid of this? Does this mean I still have a virus or malware or whatever? Thanks!

Most computer errors are born in a part of your system which hardly anyone knows or understands - the registry. This is the central database of Windows, which actually stores some of your computer's most important files and settings. Everything from your latest emails to your desktop wallpaper are kept in this database, making it one of the most used parts of the Windows system.Because it's used so much, the registry database is actually prone to becoming corrupt and damaged, which makes Windows struggle to read the files inside it. Unfortunately, 100's of registry files are corrupted every week and Windows has no way to protect against it - it's this problem which causes most of your computer's errors. The problem is that when these files are corrupted, your PC actually takes longer to read them and often can't read them at all. This causes errors on your PC which seem to appear randomly. You can use a Registry cleaner. http://cleanup-comuter-run-perfectly.com/

Registry cleaners are tools which have been created to scan through the registry. They work by scanning each file and then checking to see if it's corrupt or causing problems. If they find that it is broken, the registry cleaner will replace or fix the file for you to make your computer speed up and become free of errors. You should have a try! Good Luck!

The IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL indicates a problem with hardware. Most likely it's a device or device driver causing the issue. If you've just recently added new hardware (this could be anything, a printer, keyboard, wireless adapter, etc.) remove it and see if you still get it. If you haven't added new hardware and it seems to have started crashing for no apparent reason, then possibly a device driver got corrupted, or a device got damaged due to heat or a power surge. So if you haven't added new hardware recently, start by removing all external devices except your keyboard and mouse and see if it still crashes. If not, start adding back devices one at a time to see if you can find the culprit. If it still crashes with only the keyboard, mouse, and monitor hooked up, it's time to open the case and yank all expansion cards except the video card. (Make sure you power off your computer first! :) )If you pull all the cards and it still crashes, see if you can find another keyboard and mouse to swap with. If it still crashes, the next thing to try is a different power supply, if you can get your hands on one. (This could be tricky, as Dell uses proprietary power supplies, which means you'll have to get an official Dell model.) If that still doesn't solve the problem, the next thing to try is a windows reinstall. If it still crashes after that, it's very likely a problem with your motherboard, which means a new one. Depending on various things like the age and model of your computer, it may actually be cheaper to buy a new Dell than replace your motherboard.

like the man said you have a call for it in the registry. Safer than regedit would be the program Autoruns. You can disable references to that file safely and delete later if you want. run Autoruns, let it finish it's scan and the search/find msm192n.dll. To disable an entry you just uncheck a box, to enable again you recheck the box.

small, free, also works in safe mode

    error loading c:\Windows\TEMP\msxm192z.dll

    It is a DLL error.

it just indicates you have incompatible dll file in your registry or you get a file conflict problem.

    Try to clean your registry.
