Why is the new Yahoo homepage so retarded?
It has irritating popups, it's half advertising, it has very little going for it anymore as a place to start at. Did someone request: "Yahoo, could you put more adds and popups on my homepage please?" Time to switch. Shouldn't be hard to find an improvement. MSNBC, CNN, something useful and non-irritating.

I completely agree! The original homepage worked perfectly. My computer has trouble loading the new one with all that crap they added. If it aint broken, why fix it?
To answer your question of why...well, because it was designed by stupid people.
I'll be using this link http://www.yahoo.com/classic to stay on the good old page. But if they ever switch permanently over to that new crap, they wont be my homepage anymore.

Exactly if it is permanent I will be finding a new homepage and search engine.
Same thing happened with Youtube , Google and WMG messed that site up.
