why is the brain split in 2?
why did the brain evolve to be split in 2, you would think if it was just 1 instead of 2 hemispheres that it would help you react faster, and have more benefits then having 2 sides
what that doesnt make any sense. what is the diff in having it split or put together in that case? injury is still going to be to the same part of the brain
and the other part will also be there

Interesting question, but I don't think there was any specific reason for the brain developing as it did.
I'll give God all the credit, however, as He is far wiser than any of us mere human beings will ever be.
It is generally acknowledged that the right side of the brain controls the left side of the body, and vice versa. As for "why" God set it up that way, perhaps the best thing to do is to ask Him. After all, does there really need to be a reason for this?

Just in case of an injury, the other part can help out.
