Does anyone know why I am getting a flood of American questions in my UK & Ireland "Yahoo Answers"?

Is it just me or is everyone in the uk getting a couple of pages per day. If it is just me, what am I doing wrong?

Update:

Thanks for all the answers particularly Kayak, Kernow & AZ. I scrolled down RH col to "show" . Reset from English to UK and Ireland Questions and so far so good. Must have accidentally set on "English recently as problem had only just happened.

I've been using yahoo answers off and on for a couple of years and have always seen UK, US, Canadian, Irish and even Malaysian and Saudi Arabian posters in every category.

As far as I know, English is English on YA (unlike other iterations of Yahoo) and the only criteria is language, not nationality.

I've got my Yahoo Answers set on Uk questions only but seem to have loads of American questions as well, most annoying as they have their own site. You're not doing anything wrong - it's just the site is inundated with americans who want to know what we 'ask' and the replies we get. Must admit though to answering some of them just to get points.

In the Uk we have a box on the right hand side which says Show UK & Ireland answers only.

Does not work, we are flooded with people from the US always saying 'depends which state you are in'

    The system needs sorting.

probably the same reason I'm getting Irish, and English Questions here in USA.

You have the all english questions selected on the show tab.

The drop down may have Ireland /england on it Mine has USA only or all english questions.

yahoo's extremely poor administration !!! it's impossible to tell directly if the question is american english or canadian sometimes there is a small line at the bottom saying where it was first asked, there was a guy last week asking directions to a shop in hong kong but no id of it's source

In my own opinion , I think questions are shared at quiet times , try YA India and there is often minutes between questions , to avoid this I am assuming they mix US and UK& IR to avoid this , Maybe

perhaps it is easier to get the truth in the USA unlike England where the country is run by cheats/liars and thieves.or maybe they are just know-it alls

The Americans try and take over everything. I get it too.
