Well, clearly she has an irresponsible owner for leaving you with her dog without any instruction.
What kind of dog is she? Do you have her food? Feed her 2 or 3 times a day, its hard to say how much without knowing how big she is, but just put the food out and let her eat until she's full, puppies tend to eat when they're hungry.
Of course she's not leash trained, she's a puppy, that takes time. My 6 month old dog still has leash issues. It doesn't matter whether she's leash trained or not, you need to let her out and walk her to keep her energy level content. Make sure she has plenty of water also.
If you don't want to leave her out, because yes, it is cold, then don't. Its freezing and she's a puppy. Do you know they can't regulate their body temperature, just like babies and that she could die? Bring her and trat her like a baby.
Leave food out for her, ask her owner why on earth she didn't leave you any instructions to take care of her puppy, and just cuddle and take care of the puppy.

Well if this is a puppy you should take it out to potty every hour and you should feed it about a Small scoop of food. Make sure( if her dog food is dry food) to soak the food for about 30min in warm water. For the leash training thing I can't help there but the main thing is to feed it no matter if you over feed it or not, because a puppy has to eat! Hope I helped!

Well first the owner is errisponsible for dumping there dog on you and not giving you any info about the dog. Also thats the problem with having a dog your supposed to have a dog at a good time in your life when your not busy and this obviously wasnt a good time for them to get a dog. And i cant really answer the question because theres not enough info here. Also when the owner returns to pick up the dog you should have a sturn conversation with them about how you didnt know what to do.

That doesn't sound right. I would think the owner should have given you the pup's feeding and potty schedule. Pups usually go about every 2 hours. Did the owner leave you food? Dogs usually need to be fed twice a day unless they have a medical condition.

well if its for a day then u would probably feed it twice once in the morning and once at night. usually the owners would tell u cuz some dogs r on a certain schedule, when we r taking care of dogs (nd we have a pet sitters Business) we feed them at their times then 20 min later they go out so they don't mess in the house. its a good idea to be outside for however long it takes for them to do their stuff, then if its a really active dog play for 15 or 20 min. nd that's basically it.

Ok. Feed it half a scoop of dry food. Not too much! Walk her almost every hour so she doesn't pee or poo on your carpet. And the temperature doesn't matter for a dog. It has a double thick coat.

go for a walk twice a day and feed it in the morning, afternoon and night, whenever you have your breakfast lunch and dinner, and play with it a lot and don't wake it up when its sleeping and try to get it to bed at around 9:00 or 10:00 wake him up at about 8:00 or 9:00
