How do I get rid of a porcupine?
My dog discovered a porcupine rolled up in our yard. It's alive...I can see it breathing. It's early morning here, so I guess it will wake up eventually. lol I am just afraid of letting my dog or kids outside with it out there. I have never been around them before, so I have no clue what I am really dealing with. Any clue of how to get it out of my yard without getting struck by a quill??
It's gone now. I moved away on its own. I just hope it doesn't come back. lol Thanks!

Just gather your kids and dog and let it leave on its own. Make sure you don't leave any food scraps or garbage in the yard so it won't come back.

You could get a long yard broom and swat it away. Make sure you are athletic enough to manuver away from it if it comes at you. Don't allow you dog to get close because it will mess the pup up.

lead...
high velocity lead works very effectively at the removal of many undesirable creatures in ones garden.
