Will upgrading to windows 7 ultimate slow down my pc?
i asked this question before and i was told i need more ram .. is it true? and if so is 2 GB enough?
Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) Dual CPU E2140 @ 1.60GHz
RAM: 1023 mb
32 bit operating system

on heavens no. i have a Pentium 4 single core and 1gb of ram and its running as fast as xp was. being that you computer is obviously faster than mine lol, the point is that if you're upgrading from xp then no it will not go slower at all. if you're upgrading from vista than it will be actually faster.

Well you meet the requirements, its just that if your playing games/ have a lot running at once.. you would benefit upgrading your ram. But windows 7 ultimate will still work it might be a little sluggish when you have multiple windows open.
