I've never worked there, but some of my old friends from my Nova days went there after Nova, and said it was much better.

The big English schools are mostly garbage. At interac you at least get sent to real high, jr. high, and elementary schools, which can be more fun, and less work on your part.

Speaking of working for high schools/middle schools, how about JET? It is the cushiest teaching job in Japan, and the pay is better than almost any other entry level teaching job you can find. So you make over $3 grand a month, and somedays you will have no classes at all, and some weeks you may be in class once or twice the whole damn week. It is not easy to get this job, but awesome if you can.

Geez, everyone and his little brother these days has x years experience from Korea.

Seriously, I just realized how dorky it sounds when you or I trot out the line "I have x years of experience in Korea."

It's almost as clichéd as the line "I learned leadership and team management skills, time management, and flexibility from raising my two sons."

I have, up until now, prominently featured my Korean English teaching experience on my résumé, but now that I'm reading basically the same words from the keyboard of another white monkey, I'm seriously tempted to go and delete it as fast as I can...
