I absolutely hate acoustic guitar (and the Misfits) but I thought the acoustic version of "I Want Your Skull" was well done and still retained the humor of the original. No sure who covered it.

for me it has to be the unplugged version of Layla by Eric Clapton. I think it's a lot better than the original version he did as part of Derek & the Dominoes.

My favorite is everlong by the foo fighters is the original and everlong (acoustic) is the acoustic one. Also crazy by gnarls barkley is amazing acoustic and nelly fertado covered it acoustic and this other guy named ray lamontag also did an acoustic cover which is amazing. If you subscribe to siruis satellite radio they have this station called the coffeehouse and they play acoustic covers all day long it is really good. It is channel 30. they also have it on xm but idk what station number.
