Zune 120gb user thinking of switching to an iPod, weighing pros and cons, asking advice?

I have a 120 gb Zune that I bought about a month and a half ago. Hadn't had any troubles with it like I had my 30gb until this last week. I'm going to return it on Monday and when I do, I'm considering switching to an iPod Classic 160.

I love the Zune marketplace, this is why I hesitate. I have never missed around iTunes because I haven't needed to. But with my zune pass I can strech the $15 dollars/month a lot farther than I can stretch in iTunes. I'll download much more than 15 songs/month, plus I love the full podcast I can download, not just segments.

I listen to my Zune for about 4 hrs. a day and I'm just curious what people say about this situation and if there are some options in iTunes I'm not aware of.

Update:

NONE - I recently upgraded from the 30gb Zune to the 120. The 30gb has a reputation for software glitches. This kind of thing happens regularly. I sent mine in for service more than once.

They supposedly worked these glitches out with the 120, I think mines just a lemon, but none the less I'm fed up with the product. I desire a reliable product.

What is the 30GB and what does it have to do with anything? If you're planning to return the 120GB Zune that you've had for more than 30 days, you probably won't be able to. As for the Zune Pass, that isn't compatible with an iPod and you'll lose most of what you downloaded if you no longer have a paid subscription.

Between limited-time-only sales, album prices and the Complete My Album feature from the iTunes Store, I actually keep more music than you do and I rarely spend $15 there in any two consecutive months.

I have an iPod Touch and an iPod Classic, neither of which I would want to be without. But, I honestly think you're making a mistake by switching from Zune to iPod at this stage.

Well depends on if you need alot of storage... and what features you want

I'd go with the iPod touch 64GB if you need storage and features... though if you need more you can get a iPod Classic 160GB or record video with the iPod nano

    iPod touch's pros and cons

-It has a great touchscreen (capacitive so it requires human touch so no accidental touching LOL)

-Large Apps Catalog to keep you from getting bored

    -Great Music App

    -Accelerometer

    -Plays videos

    -Large screen

    Cons

-Sometimes the touchscreen can get annoying especially when your playing or pausing a song.... cause you have to Slide to Unlock or double click the Home Button

-App Store Catalog has 80,000 apps but almost most of them are not that good...

-Very prone to scratches and damage (scratches you can get even if you use it for just 5 minutes)

    iPod nano

-Small size great for recording video

    -Accelerometer

    -Limited games support (from iTunes)

    -Great compact music player

    -Plays videos

    -Has some preset video effects

    Cons

    -Well you can't get apps

-Camera isn't that good but still it's OK (The same camera as 3GS)

    iPod Classic

    -Large storage

    -Great design and slim

    -Nice interface

    -Plays Videos

    Cons

-Sometimes the click wheel can get unresponsive

-Doesn't look as great as the other iPods

-Doesn't have an accelerometer (not really needed cause it will be weird to use it sideways)
