Is it okay to use a gram cracker crust when making A PUMPKIN PIE?

    ive been a chef for over 30 years and never thought of that but it sounds very good give it a try you can do about anything you want to when cooking recipes are good but not the law, dont be afraid to try new things just remember i always say salt and pepper wont work in cake but if something sounds good try it if doesnt work try something new the next time

    Of course, I always make my pumpkin pies with graham cracker crust. I usually make it myself though, because store bought crusts have a funny taste to them.
