any good avi to mp4 converting software?

i want a software than can convert videos from avi to mp4 pleaseee help i had one but it doesnt work any more any help will b deepli appreciated

    I use the free software from this website. It even takes the vids off of my Sony Handycam DVD's (and Sony is NOT compatible with anything on purpose!) I've never had any trouble with this program.

    You videos are probably DivX using an AVI as the container, it is not possible to just rename the extension to MP4, as they are not the same thing. Your Videos are quite large, there are a couple of companies that will do it online, but you have to upload them first this is going to take longer than it took to down load also there is normally a size limit.anotherr problem is that if the video are copyrighted, then you will not be allowed to do this any way it will be part of their terms and conditions. You do not say what operating system you are using or if you have any video editing software installed, except windows movie maker you should be able to export your video in MP4. Otherwise you will not be able to do what you want without the help from a video converter its pure and simple. If you dont want to DL a converter then see if any of your friends have one that you can use on their computer, (another option) RR
