How to cook stuffed turkey in clay covered pot?

I just got a traditional clay roaster and want to cook a small turkey (stuffed). Does anyone know the correct temperature and time allowance per pound? What should I consider using a covered clay pot?

I would suggest soaking clay roaster in water for 30 minutes before you start then roast at about 350 for about 25 min per lb. check with meat thermometer. I have used for chicken and other roasts but not turkey but principle is the same . The clay holds in the moisture and tends to cook faster in own juices and makes for a more flavorful meat.

I have never cooked in a clay covered pot. You can cook your turkey, 15 min. for every lb. then I usually add another hour @ 350.
