I need info Re: X- country ski boots, bindings etc.?

I have a set of x- country skis (app. 30 yrs. old) but the boots are worn out. Should I invest in a whole new set, just boots or boots +bindings.

What do I look for in buying equipment ?

Where do I get the best value (price and good equipment+ advice)?

Thanks.

Since your equipment is 30 years old you may have no choice but to go with new boots and bindings because the boot/binding system may no longer be available. Even if you can find boots for your old bindings I would still consider updating both the boots and the bindings. Newer technology bindings by Solomon and Alpina are far superior to what was available 30 years ago and you won't be limited by a small selection of available choices.

my favorite version of the bindings are step ins you literally just step on it effortlessly and it clicks in and your good. you would have to buy new

    skis

    bindings

    boots
