Boyfriend hates Halloween and doesn't want to dress up?

Psh... Try having a husband who hates Christmas and won't allow a Christmas tree...

Seriously though, I sympathize. Maybe he has negative memories associated with it?

If he is older, try getting him to wear a bathrobe over his clothes, and carry a cigar and glass of jack. Maybe top it off with some devil horns, if that's too much, you can always back down on the horns. My husband usually poo-poo's costumes and such, but he had fun with that one (Hugh Hefner).

All right make him a t shirt that says Happy Halloween and or has some picture of a black cat or something on it. Tell him it's not a costume just a shirt. Tell everyone else it's his costume. Directions for shirt below.

It does suck that he doesn't want to dress up. Try like I did and be like how about we go as sugar skulls together. Tell him you want to do his makeup just use an eye liner and draw a skull outline on his face. Sone guys just don't want to be bothered with clothes. It worked for my bf

Well dont bother him about it... guys hate that. If he doesnt want to wear a costume, thats his choice, not yours. You're his girlfriend, not his manager.

You can't make someone like something..maybe you could go out with some friends that night instead..you might have more fun! ;)

If you're more concerned with other peoples opinions of him than of his own happiness, you need to rethink your relationship.

Halloween takes priority over EVERYTHING.

If he's not going to dress up then don't take him with you.
