Great question!
My friends argue this point today.
LS was a sonic and lyrical masterpiece then and now. GZA was showing he could hold down an entire album alone for the most part.
Rae gave the definitive product of the mafiso rap era Cuban link. AZ tried with Doe or Die, Jay tried with Reasonable Doubt, Nas tried with it was Written (and the Firm) and let's be real none were as cinematic or epic as Only Built For Cuban Linx.
With that said, have to go with Rae who had a classic of the sub-genre and Hip-Hop as a whole.

OB4CL spawned a sequal album 14 years after it's relase. While I love liquid swords, not many albums could do that over such a long period of time.
My opinion, OB4CL. Liquid swords is very close though. I love the hynotic sound of it and the producing is top notch.

It's hard, but Liquid Swords, the beats went right with gza dark lyrics and topics. And GZA lyrics, rhyme schemes, flow were his best. But i do think only built for cuban linx has better production, idk it could go either way but im just going with Liquid Swords.

Depends how you define better. OB4CL was more influential, LS is technically perfect (imo).
I think Liquid Swords is the better album, and it's the one I prefer, but OB4CL really deserves its classic status.
